This is us… Sam Cooper and Andrew Cooper (me), pictured here in the pit lane at Silverstone for the the 2016 F1 British Grand Prix.

We are a lad & dad, both mad about cars and motorsport of all sorts. I was first grabbed by rallying as a kid, watching the Lombard RAC rally in Sutton Park in the eighties at the height of the Group B frenzy. I began rallying myself in 1996 going from single venue rallies  and on to multi-venue events including rounds of the BTRDA Silver Star and Gold Star Championships in 1997 and 1998.

Sam I suspect couldn’t really avoid becoming a car nut. I put him in a cart at the age of 6 at Daytona Karting in Old Trafford, Manchester. He loved it and eventually he got his own kart a second hand Zip Comer Cadet kart which we took to Hooton Park on the Wirral. Sam now has a Project One Honda Cadet kart, a change driven by our move to Cambridge in 2015, with Honda being the choice at the nearest track. Having completed training at YoungStarz at Red Lodge Karting just into Suffolk, Sam his now racing in the Club2000 Championship at RLK and HKRC at Kimbolton.

Oh…probably should explain the CASE bit in the team name. The girls in the family are Catherine (Mum) and Evie (Sam’s sister), put all the families initials together in the right order and there you are!
